My Daughter
It's happened, she's 13!! Isn't she beautiful, isn't she amazing, I think so, I know so! My 13 year old is smart, and funny, and thoughtful. She loves Dr. Who, and Marvel Superhero's, and Disney. She still loves to cook and bake and create. She plays the violin beautifully, she has great fashion sense. She knows when I need a hug, she's a concerned and caring friend. We love her!
These pictures were taken at Danielle's Young Women's in Excellence night. The girls talked about the projects they were working on and they varied between acts of service and personal projects to promote growth and knowledge. My favorite part of the night was when someone said about our YW that they didn't need to come to earth to prove their worth, their worth is of divine nature. I loved that! We are daughters of a king and our worth has already been determined, our worth is infinite, and our Heavenly Father knows that. It was a great night. Danielle I think had a great birthday, she spent almost five hours at the mall with her friends so I assume it was good. This was taken right before Rayce was born and this is the age I always think she still is, that doesn't make much sense but she will always be this little girl in my mind.

Rayce Turns 8!
December has marked milestone birthdays in our family! My boy turned 8 years old and Danielle 13! Like most of our birthday parties, it was low key. Rayce just wanted to take a couple of buddies to the weasels den because for the month of December all the video games are free, so that's what we did!
A good friend of ours made Rayce this awesome lego cake!
Oh, how we love this sweet, compassionate, funny, kid!

The Rest of Seoul
We did a lot of walking around Seoul; there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. Korean food is pretty tasty but we all jumped at the chance to eat at California Pizza Kitchen.
One of our days we rode the subway an hour to a place called Lotte World. Lotte World is a blatant ripoff of Disneyland!
One of the good things about Lotte World is a good part of it is inside. So, it was a welcome sight for us that we didn't have to freeze outside all day.
Rayce and Avie on the bumper cars.
The next day we were fortunate to be able to go to the Seoul Temple. I can't say how happy the temple makes me! It's a feeling without equal, and we're blessed to be able to attend in another country. It was a cold, but beautiful morning and a highlight of our trip!
After the temple we went to one of the main palaces in Seoul. It's called Gyeongbokgung, and it's also the largest. It's amazing! I'm so glad Dan likes to see this boring stuff as much as I do! We left the kids back at the hotel with some friends so we wouldn't hear pleas to leave every 10 minutes.
Lastly we went to a lantern festival that happened to be going on while we were there.
Seoul is a very great place to visit and we'd love to go back sometime...too bad there are a lot of other places we want to visit in our short time left here.
